This season, Northern Ontario will once again be holding Express Singles Provincials for all divisions. The Bantams will be bowling at Mario’s Bowl in Thunder Bay (West zones) and Butch’s Bowl in Cochrane (East zones).
For the Junior & Senior divisions, the 5 Pin YBC Singles Provincials will take place on Sunday, December 8 in
Sudbury.
Due to the outstanding number of entries, we used 3 bowling centres for the Junior & Senior event!!
Junior Boys bowled at Whitewater Lanes in Azilda, the Junior Girls used Chico’s Bowl in Hanmer and both Senior divisions competed at Plaza Lanes in Sudbury
With the exception of the gold medal winners, all other competitors from the singles provincials will be eligible to participate in the doubles & combo event qualifying. The 5 Pin YBC team provincials will be held on March 1-2, 2025 at Timber Lanes in Dryden.
The 10 Pin YBC Provincials will be taking place at Mario’s Bowl in Thunder Bay on February 25, 2024.
2023-24 YBC 5 PIN PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
This year’s 5 pin youth provincials were held at Tri-Town Bowl in Haileybury (Bantam doubles & Combos teams) and Partners Bowl & Billiards in North Bay (Juniors & Seniors doubles) on March 2, 2024
2023-24 YBC NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS – EXPRESS SINGLES PROVINCIALS
This season, Northern Ontario will be joining the rest of Canada and running the 5 Pin YBC Singles Provincials as a separate event with the Bantam division bowling at two locations (Chico’s Bowl in Hanmer for the east zones, Timber Lanes in Dryden for the west zones) on Sunday, October 29. The scores from these two events will then be put together with the winners of all bowlers combined advancing to the national finals in Ottawa in May 2024.
For the Junior & Senior divisions, the 5 Pin YBC Singles Provincials will take place on Sunday, December 3 in Thunder Bay.
