We would like to pass on our deepest condolences to Jack’s family and the entire bowling community on such a great loss.  Jack was the Club 55 Chairman for Northern Ontario for many years and always a big part of the bowling proprietors organization.  His presence at the meetings and all of the tournaments will be greatly missed.

In Loving Memory of John “Jack” Rene Chokan (77 Years) who passed away at Health Sciences North on Sunday, March 28th, 2021.
Beloved husband of Betty Chokan (nee Wolk). Cherished father of Linda Chokan, Wendy Chokan, Bonnie Chokan (Tyler). Treasured Gigi of Juliet Chokan. Dear son of John and Rita Chokan (both predeceased). Loving brother of David (predeceased)(Karen), Bruce (predeceased), Ken (Terry), Ruth (Bill predeceased). Debbie (Roger). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Jack was very involved in the Bowling Community having owned Garson Bowl. He always took great pride in being there for the community and he always had a place in his heart for the Garson Community. He loved the game of golf and spending time on the golf course. He will be especially missed by his poker buddies.
At Jack’s request there will be no visitation or service.
Donations to the Heart Failure Clinic in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
